About Dr. Akhila Vasanth Hassan Dr. Akhila Vasanth Hassan is a pediatric nephrologist and kidney transplant specialist with 12+ years of experience. Her areas of expertise include Peritoneal dialysis, hemodialysis, acute peritoneal dialysis, chronic ambulatory peritoneal dialysis, plasmapheresis, Uro Dynamics, Kidney biopsies, renal recipient surgery, Laparoscopic simple and donor nephrectomy. She is a member of the European Society of Pediatric Nephrology, Indian Society of Paediatric Nephrology, International Paediatric Nephrology Association and Indian Academy Paediatrics.
