About Dr Albert D’Souza Dr Albert D’Souza has 16 years of experience as an Orthopaedic surgeon and is well respected in his profession. His areas of specialisation are Problems in the shoulder, ankle, knee, and hip, Infections of Bone and Joint, Arthritis (De-generative and Post-traumatic), Sports Injury (Shoulder/Knee/Ankle/Feet), Fracture (Low Backache /Sciatica), Hand & Foot infection, and Joint Replacement (Knee & Hip). Being a cancer survivor himself, he treats patients with empathy and compassion; he also volunteers to help the ailing elderly and immobile patients. Along with his team members, he conceptualised and designed a unique jam knife for carpel tunnel release on an OPD basis. This is recently patented in India Patent Office. He received a Certificate of Honor for exemplary service for cyclone relief work in Odisha in 1999 as a member of a medical relief team. Dr D’Souza had been an active member of the Arthroplasty unit in Max Hospital, Saket under the mentorship of a world-renowned Arthroplasty Surgeon Dr S.K.S. Marya. He had received awards and presented papers at various conferences; he also has publications and co-authored a chapter. He is a member of the Indian Medical Association, IOA, Delhi Orthopaedic Association, and UPOA.
