About Dr. Ali Issa Dr. Ali Issa is a Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist, based in Dubai with 16+ years of experience in the field of medicine. He has graduated from the reputed Aleppo University, followed by post-graduation from Damascus University. Later, he did a diploma in Gastroenterology from the prestigious Edouard Herriot university hospital, Lyon. Dr. Ali has worked earlier in Montpellier university hospital, Beziers hospital, Al Zahra Hospital Dubai, and can speak fluently in three languages which makes the communication barrier negligible. His areas of clinical expertise lie in the Endoscopic resection of digestive tumors in the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, Treatment of digestive strictures by endoscopic dilatation, Placement of gastric feeding tube, Capsule endoscopy, Abdominal ultrasound, Screening program for colorectal cancer, Colon diverticulosis, Motility disorders of the esophagus, Achalasia and hernias. He has both national and international publications under his credit. Also, actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, Conferences, CDE’s, worldwide conferences to talk about Digestive functional disorders.
