About Dr. Altamash Shaikh Dr. Altamash Shaikh is an Endocrinologist in India with 22+ years in the field. He is a Member of the Indian Medical Association and Maharashtra Medical Council. He pursued his MBBS in the year 2001 and is a State Ranker from Rajiv Gandhi University Of Health and Science. He later completed his DNB in General Medicine from Port Trust Hospital, Wadala in 2017. He has also done his DNB in Endocrinology from P.D. Hinduja National Hospital and Medical Research Centre, Mumbai in 2008. Dr. Shaikh frequently organises Diabetes education programmes, and actively involved in setting up the Diabetic Clinic. He has actively participated at national and international workshops, and training programmes to enhance his knowledge and skills, and is also involved in teaching medical students (undergraduates and post graduates), family physicians and paramedical staff. Over the years, many of his research efforts have culminated in co-authored articles and is also reviewer in peer-reviewed journals.
