About Dr. Anand N S Dr. Anand N S is a highly qualified Consultant – Laparoscopic, Bariatric & General Surgeon at Columbia Asia Hospital, Hebbal with over 12 years of quality experience. After completing his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in 2003, he expanded his specialization by completing DNB in General Surgery from The Bangalore Hospital in 2008. To further enhance his skills he also pursued FMAS, FMIBS and FIAGES. He started his career as Junior Resident in Surgical Specialties at The Bangalore Hospital in 2004. Since 2011, he has been working as a Consultant General Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgeon at renowned institutions like Beams Hospitals and Fortis Hospital. Apart from his extensive clinical experience he has also worked as a faculty for the FNB – MAS program guiding surgeons on laparoscopy. Well- seasoned in management as well, he has been actively involved in the marketing and development of the Beams Hospitals in Koramangala. He has written various articles on surgical problems for leading newspapers of Bengaluru and has given live and recorded interviews to television channels on health related problems. He has also actively participated as a speaker at various academic and public forums.
