About Dr Anjan Bhattacharya Dr Anjan Bhattacharya is one of the most renowned paediatricians in Kolkata. He has an experience of over 27+years in the field of paediatrics, neonatology & developmental paediatrics in India & UK. Dr Bhattacharya has completed his MBBS from the eminent Kolkata Medical College & DCH from UK. Following which he did his MRCP from London & MRCPCH form UK. He has done his clinical observer ship on Paediatric Epilepsy at the esteemed Great Ormond Street Hospital [GOSH] for Children at London. Dr Anjan Bhattacharya has been chosen as one of the 27 experts in the world, by the WHO (World Health Organization) International to provide his expert input in an international consensus meeting at Vancouver. He is trained in diagnostic evaluation of children with complex disability, with the Internationally Gold Standard Assessment Tools like Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) and Autism Diagnostic Interview- Revised [ADI-R] techniques. He has had the privilege to lead a multi-professional team of Paediatric Tube Feeding team at Newham University Hospital in London and has efficiently managed children on long term Gastrostomy or Nasogastric Tube Feeding Regimes. Dr Bhattacharya is an examiner for the MRCPCH and DCH at UK. He is also the course co-ordinator and the affiliate tutor of the DCH/IPPC course for Sydney University, Australia. He has been awarded Pioneer Award by Indian Academy of Paediatrics, East Zone Branch and Bharat Jyoti Award by India International Friendship Society.
