About Dr Anthony Foo Tun Lin Dr Anthony Foo Tun Lin is an orthopaedic surgeon having more than 15 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes  hand and reconstructive surgery, encompassing congenital hand conditions, trauma, flap reconstruction, small joint arthroscopy & arthroplasty, and functional reconstruction for nerve deficit. His other areas of interest are wound management and diabetic foot reconstruction.  Dr. Foo earned his degree from University College London in 2005 and completed his hand surgery fellowship in 2013. In the exit test, the Academy of Medicine gave him a Gold Medal, and he was accepted as a Fellow. He worked as an assistant professor of orthopaedic surgery at the National University of Singapore and a consultant in hand and reconstructive microsurgery at National University Hospital before joining Raffles Hospital. Regular travel fellowships to places like the Mayo Clinic (Rochester), Schulthess Klinik (Zurich), Ospedale Borgo Roma (Verona), Lerdsin Hospital (Bangkok), and Ningxia People’s Hospital helped him develop his clinical practise (Yinchuan). He has written numerous peer-reviewed studies on anatomy, biomechanics, and innovative surgical procedures. He has received numerous accolades for teaching and serving as an example in undergraduate medical education from the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the NUS Medical Society. Dr. Foo serves on the Residency Advisory Council’s committee for examination and assessment at the postgraduate level. Dr. Foo has led various scientific events including international partners from North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific nations and has been on the council of the Singapore Society for Hand Surgery since 2009. He is a member of the hand surgery community at large. He served as the instructor for various regional fracture, bone fixation, and microsurgical reconstruction IBRA (International Bone Research Association) and Depuy AO courses.
