About Dr Antonio Bayes de Luna Dr. Antonio Bayes de Luna is a cardiologist with more than 60 years of expertise in this field. Services provided by him includes diagnosis of different heart diseases, surface electrocardiography, and many more.  He got his Bachelor of Medicine from the Universities of Zaragoza and Barcelona in 1959, and his Medical Resident in Medicine from the University of Barcelona’s Clinical Hospital in 1960. He has served as president of the World Heart Federation, founder and first president of the Catalan Society of Cardiology, president of the Spanish Society of Cardiology, and president of the International Society of Cardiovascular Pharmacotherapy, among other positions in leading cardiovascular societies. He holds honorary doctorates from the University of Lisbon and Budapest’s Hungarian Academy of Sciences.  He was awarded the Creu de Sant Jordi prize for his contributions to cardiology in 2003. In Catalonia, this is the second highest civil honour.  His book “Clinical Electrocardiography” was published in Catalan, Spanish, French, English, Russian, Polish, and Turkish (latest version Futura Pub. 1993). Dr Antonio Bayés de Luna has published hundreds of articles in prestigious journals and has spoken at several international conferences and meetings.
