About Dr. Atif Alvi Dr. Atif Alvi is a sought-after General Surgeon with +20 years of experience in the field of colorectal surgery, general and laparoscopic surgeries. Dr. Alvi holds professional memberships of the Royal Society of Medicine and the European Crohn’s and Colitis Organisation. He did all his education in the UK and Ireland, from where he earned his M.Sc from Imperial College, London, MRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh,  FRCS from the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin and also cleared his Intercollegiate Speciality Board  Exam. Dr. Alvi also holds a certificate of completion of training from the after completing his training in London and Cambridge in 2010. He is reputed to perform colon & rectal/Crohn’s disease/laparoscopic and hernia repair surgeries. Dr. Alvi possesses specialised skills to perform laparoscopic surgery for inflammatory bowel disease and follows enhanced recovery pathway (ERP) for speedy recovery after all such procedures. He also treats hemorrhoids, anal fistula, fissures, gallstones and offers colonoscopy.
