About Dr. Avinash Murlidhar Pulate Dr. Avinash Murlidhar Pulate is a leading and experienced Orthopedic & Joint Replacement Surgeon with an experience of +21 years, including both, clinical practice and as a faculty. He is the Secretary and President of the District Orthopaedic Society, the Managing Committee Member of Indian Medical Association, the Executive Member of State Orthopaedic Association and the member of the  Board of Studies Maharashtra State University of Health Sciences.  After completing MBBS in 1991, he did his PG in 1994, followed by AO fellowship in Trauma University Hospital Essen, Germany in 1998.  Dr. Pulate has performed around 10,000 various surgeries and has vast experience in managing complicated spine problems, orthopaedic trauma, joint replacement and knee arthroscopy. His surgical expertise includes, ankle fusion surgery, ACL reconstruction, carpal tunnel release, cervical /lumbar disc replacement, hip resurfacing surgery, knee arthroscopy, meniscectomy, meniscus repair, microdiscectomy and shoulder arthroscopy among a few other procedures. Dr. Pulate has been a Professor,  PG teacher and examiner of orthopaedics at the Medical College Hospital, Nashik. He has been a Ph.D guide at state university. He has published works in 14 international and national peer-reviewed index journals. He has been the editor of the Journal of Trauma and Orthopaedic Dr. Pulate has presented 24 papers and posters at various national conferences and been a faculty for various courses.
