About Dr. Bae Soo-youn Dr. Bae Soo-youn is a Seoul-based Surgical Oncologist with 15+ years in the field. She is a member of the Korean Surgical Society, the Korean Breast Cancer Society, the Korean Association of Thyroid and Endocrine Surgery, and the European Society for Medical Oncology. She received the prestigious ESMO Asia 2018 âMerit Awardâ and ESMO Asia 2019 âBest Poster Awardâ. She completed her M.D. in Medical Science from the Konkuk University College of Medicine in 2005 and M.S, from the same university in 2012. She completed her Ph.D. in Medicine (Surgery) in 2019 from the Sungkyunkwan University College of Medicine. Dr. Jung’s areas of expertise include high-resolution breast sonography, breast cancer surgery, reconstructive breast surgery, high-speed biopsy, aesthetic breast surgery, etc. She has several publications in international as well as national medical journals.
