About Dr. Baek Seung-hyuk Dr. Baek Seung-hyuk is a Seoul-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 24+ years in the field. He is a respected member of the Association of Surgeons, Gastroenterologists and Oncologists (International), Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) (International), Society of Surgical Oncology (SSO) (International), and more. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine at the Yonsei University in 1996 and a Master’s Degree at the same university in 2006. He also went on to pursue his M.D. and Ph.D. from Yonsei University in 2009 for further specialization in the field. Dr. Baek has completed his Fellowship at the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (FASCRS) (International) and short-term training in Oncology Surgery at Washington Cancer Institute, USA, Washington DC. His main clinical interest lies in Colorectal cancer, Hepatobiliary cancer, Pancreatic cancer, minimally invasive surgical treatment, gastric cancer, colorectal cancer, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. He also has been invited to varied national and international conferences to deliver lectures and has written well-researched articles in the World Journal of Gastroenterology, International Journal of Advanced Robotic System, etc.
