About Dr. Barbara Rantner Dr. Barbara Rantner is a prominent Vascular Surgeon in Munich, Germany with nearly 26+ years in the field. She serves as a Council of the European Society of Vascular Surgery in the European Stroke Council and memberships of the American Society of Vascular Surgery, European Society of Vascular Surgery, and Austrian Society of Vascular Surgery. After completing her medical studies at the University of Innsbruck, Austria, she started her Ph.D. studies at the Medical University Innsbruck in 2008.  Parallelly, she started her professional training in general and vascular surgery at the Medical University Innsbruck in 2010, and in 2013 she accomplished the Venia Legendi and was appointed Privat-Dozent at the Medical University Innsbruck. Her key interests lie in Laser varicose veins surgery and bypass for salvage of limbs in diabetic patients and undertake all types of vascular surgical procedures such as occlusive disease and aortic surgery for aneurismal and leg bypasses, etc. Dr. Rantner has also presented several papers within Germany and abroad on Vascular Surgery and written multiple articles on the same.
