About Dr. Bassel Safi Dr. Bassel Safi is a well-known Vascular Surgeon in Abu Dhabi having extensive 21+ years of experience. He has completed his studies at the reputed College of Medicine at Damascus University, Syria. later, he did a Fellowship in Vascular Surgery from Memphis, Tennessee in the USA. He also holds a Board Certification in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery. Dr. Safi has worked earlier in Cleveland, Ohio, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His area of expertise lies in the management of the Diabetic Foot, Hemo-Dialysis, May-Thurner syndrome, blood clots, aortic aneurysms, and lymphedema, etc. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications in accredited indexed journals. He is also actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific conferences, CDE’s, Conferences, and worldwide meetings to talk about the different types of Aneurysms and their management. The vascular surgeon is well trained in all the aspects of Vascular Surgery and also served as a director in various government hospitals.
