About Dr. Bernard Kwok Dr. Bernard Kwok is a cardiologist having more than 32 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes Cardiac Stress Testing, Exercise Testing and Exercise Prescription, Heart Health Screening, Echocardiography and CT Coronary Angiography and Calcium Scoring. Dr. Bernard Kwok graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1990 with a basic medical degree. His Master of Medicine from NUS gave him more training in internal medicine. After earning a diploma from the Royal College in Edinburgh, Scotland in the U.K., he was admitted as a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (U.K.). He completed a fellowship in Heart Failure & Heart Transplantation at Stanford University School of Medicine in the United States after completing his cardiology residency at the National University Hospital in Singapore. He is the first licenced transplant cardiologist in Singapore. At the National Heart Centre of Singapore, Dr. Kwok launched the nation’s first multidisciplinary heart failure programme. The Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine at NUS employs Dr. Kwok as a Clinical Senior Lecturer. He served as the President of the Singapore Cardiac Society and as the former Governor of the American College of Cardiology’s Singapore Chapter. He was the Heart Failure Society’s first President (Singapore). Dr. Bernard Kwok is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Malay.
