About Dr Bharat Sapra With 32+ years of experience, Dr. Bharat Sapra is the most prominent Consultant Gastroenterologist in UAE. He was a gold medalist medical student. He has completed around 50,000 cases with around 3500 cases per year in upper GI Endoscopy. He has completed 8,000 cases and or supervised trainees enrolled under him in lower GI Endoscopies Colonoscopy with Ileoscopy and Sigmoidoscopies. He has completed and supervised 5000 cases of ERCP with 400 cases per year. Dr. Bharat is also trained in Linear EUS and performs about 120 cases every year.  He specializes in diagnostics & therapeutic Endoscopies. He is a member of the Association of Physicians of India, Indian Society of Gastroenterology and Society of GI Endoscopy. Dr Bharat has also published numerous articles in leading journals of clinical Medicine and has thorough command in his clinical practice seeing GI Oncology, Hepatology, Pancreato-Biliary diseases, IBD’s and other luminal cases apart from routine GE cases. He has completed MBBS (1988) and MD (1992) from Sawai Mansingh Medical College, Jaipur, India. He also did DM (2002) from the PGIMER, Chandigarh, India. He has educated more than 50 post-doctoral fellows in Clinical Gastroenterology and Therapeutic Endoscopy from diverse areas as a post-doctoral instructor and examiner. He has also published numerous articles in leading journals of clinical Medicine and has thorough command in his clinical practice seeing GI Oncology, Hepatology, Pancreato-Biliary diseases, IBD’s and other luminal cases apart from routine GE cases. Dr Bharat is well-versed in Hindi, Punjabi and English.
