About Dr. Bhavesh Thakkar Dr. Bhavesh Thakkar is a renowned Gastroenterologist with +17 years of experience in treating disorders and diseases of the GI tract. He is a professional member of the Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian National Association of Study on Liver and the Indian Motility and Functional Disease Association. Dr.Thakkar completed his MBBS in 2005 from M P Shah Medical College, and in 2009 did his MD from the same college. In 2013, he did his DNB from Apollo Hospital, Chennai. He specialises in colon cancer screening, intestinal disease, liver disease, GI disorders, treating obesity, pancreatic disorders and inflammatory bowel and colorectal disease. Some other diagnostic procedures he performs are, gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP and ultrasound.
