About Dr. Bhupendra Gandhi Dr. Bhupendra Gandhi is a highly-experienced Nephrologist with 46+ years of experience. He is known for performing first kidney transplantation across the blood group barrier (known as ABO Incompatible) and has so far carried out 100 such kidney transplantations in India. He also offers treatment for Calcium Metabolism disorders, Chronic Kidney disease, Diabetes with Renal Manifestations, Hypertensive Chronic Kidney disease, and kidney stones, etc. He has been honored with several awards. He has participated in numerous conferences and presented papers in them. He is the President of the Mumbai Nephrology group, Managing Trustee of Amar Gandhi Foundation and Chairman of Hester Pharmaceuticals. He is the life member of numerous prestigious associations such as the American College of Physicians, Indian Medical Association, Indian Society of Organ Transplantation and Indian Society of Nephrologist. He takes a keen interest in research and has several publications to his credit in reputed medical journals. He has also written chapters in books on Blood Diseases.
