Currently he is Chief of Shoulder Service at the Mount Sinai Health System and is a Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is also very actively involved in research, and some of his recent projects include the outcomes of proximal humerus fractures that have been treated with locked plating; the outcome of percutaneous techniques of proximal humeral fracture management and biomechanical analysis of proximal humeral fracture fixation.
Dr. Parsons continues to lecture regionally, nationally, and internationally on shoulder and elbow conditions.
