About Dr. Burkhard Lehner Dr. Burkhard Lehner is an Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 32+ years in the field. He pursued his Doctorate, from Prof. Schlag, Chir. Uniklinik Heidelberg and completed his Habilitation in “New methods in the prophylaxis, diagnosis & therapy of periprosthetic infections”. He has expertise in Osteosarcoma, Ewing sarcoma, Chondrosarcoma, Bone metastases, Soft tissue sarcomas, Giant cell tumors, and all kinds of benign bone tumors. After working as an Assistant Surgeon at the University Hospital Heidelberg in 1988, he later did Military service as a medical officer at the Bad Zwischenahn military hospital in 1989. Dr. Lehner has published articles and essays in various national and international paper publications.
