About Dr. Cezmi Kahvecioglu Dr. Cezmi Kahvecioglu is an eye specialist with over 28 years of experience in this profession. The doctor’s services include laser surgery, laser LASIK surgery and many more.  In 1978, he graduated from Istanbul English High School, and in 1985, he graduated from Istanbul University’s Faculty of Medicine. Between 1989 and 1991, he studied ophthalmology at the University of Lyon in France. Between 1992 and 1994, he completed his professional studies at the Beyoglu Eye Diseases Hospital. He started working as a specialist at Laserex, Istanbul’s first laser eye treatment centre, in 1994.  He was a member of the team that pioneered excimer laser and LASIK surgery in Turkey.  He also wrote some of the earliest international refractive surgery publications. In the same year, he was accepted into the “American Academy of Ophthalmology,” and he is also a member of the Societe Francaise Ophtalmologie.  His research has been presented at a number of national and international conferences. Dr. Cezmi Kahvecioglu is fluent in English.
