About Dr. Charles Siow Hua Chiang Dr. Charles Siow Hua Chiang is a well-known Neurologist at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Singapore. He has more than 10 years of experience and holds expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of headaches, pain disorders, and stroke.  After completing his graduation from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland, he pursued specialty training in the US.  After completing a fellowship in Headache Management at the renowned Jefferson Headache Center in Pennsylvania under the mentorship of Professor Stephen Silberstein and subsequently, appointed as staff and served as an Attending Neurologist at the Department of Neurology and as a Fellowship Director. He further underwent a Residency Programme in Neurology at the Medical College of Virginia Hospitals, Virginia. After returning to Singapore, he served as a Consultant in the Department of Neurology at the National Neuroscience Institute (Singapore General Hospital campus). In 2006, he established his own private practice. Dr. Siow is currently the President of the Headache Society of Singapore and an Executive Committee member of the Pain Association of Singapore.  He was also instrumental in establishing the Asian Headache Foundation and is Secretary of the same. He has several papers and books to his credit.  He has attained certifications in Neurology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology as well as the American Board of Pain Medicine.
