About Dr. Chia Chung King Dr. Chia Chung King is a Specialist Gastroenterologist at Mount Alvernia Hospital, Singapore. He has more than 25 years of experience and holds a special interest in the diagnosis and treatment of several liver diseases.  After completing his graduation from the NUS in 1997, he completed his Master of Medicine (MMed) in Internal Medicine followed by membership from the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP) in 2002. In 2006, he was honored with the (HMDP) scholarship by MOH and underwent subspecialty training at the Liver Unit at Kings’ College Hospital, London. Afterward, he achieved a fellowship from the Academy of Medicine (Singapore) for both Gastroenterology and Internal Medicine. He is also a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (FRCP), Edinburgh. He completed his Master of Science in Health Profession Education from the Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. He has also served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, the National University of Singapore, and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine, Nanyang Technological University. He has trained several young doctors and medical students. He has been privileged with several teaching awards. He was also associated with the Board of the Tan Tock Seng Hospital.
