About Dr. Chin Pak Lin Dr. Chin Pak Lin is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 20 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes complex hip and knee joint replacement surgery that require computer-aided techniques and robotic surgery. In 1998, Dr. Chin graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery degree. He later earned his Master of Medicine in orthopaedic surgery from NUS in 2003, as well as membership in the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. In 2007, he subsequently earned a fellowship in orthopaedic surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, UK. In order to pursue advanced training in joint replacement at the Manchester Royal Infirmary in the United Kingdom, Dr. Chin was awarded the Health Manpower Development Programme (HMDP) scholarship by the Ministry of Health, Singapore in 2008. At the Singapore General Hospital’s Department of Orthopaedic Surgery’s Adult Reconstructive Service, Dr. Chin previously served as a consultant (SGH). He played a key role in establishing the SGH bone bank. Dr. Chin worked as a clinician in addition to being an adjunct assistant professor at the Duke-NUS Medical School. Dr. Chin routinely offers training sessions and organizes medical exchange programmes in the area. Additionally, he participates in volunteer work at the Ang Mo Kio Community Hospital and the Cambodian SIF initiative. Dr. Chin Pak Lin is fluent in English.
