About Dr. Christo Benecke Dr. Christo Benecke is famous Gynecologist in South Africa. He attained an MBChB from The University of Pretoria and a Masters in Medicine, MMed from The University of Stellenbosch. The doctor has a diploma in obstetrics and is a Fellow of the College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists of South Africa, FCOG (SA). Dr. Benecke completed his training in the management of endometriosis and minimally invasive surgery at Worthing Hospital in Western Sussex. He worked alongside Dr Jim English, a laparoscopic surgeon and expert in endometriosis. He runs his private practice at Netcare Christiaan Barnard Memorial Hospital in Cape Town. He received specialised training in advanced endoscopic surgery at The University of Surrey in Guildford and in Strasbourg, France under Prof Arnaud Wattiez, a world-renowned laparoscopic surgeon. He is specialised in management of chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), menopause and infertility as well as family planning, prenatal and postpartum obstetric care. Dr. Benecke not only focuses on the treatment of gynaecological conditions but also on the emotional trauma behind it.
