About Dr. David Bell Dr. David Bell is an orthopedic surgeon having more than 25 years of expertise. Services provided by him includes arthroscopy, cartilage repair, computer guided surgery, knee/hip replacement and trauma surgery.  Dr. David Bell earned his medical fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (2001) after graduating from the National University of Singapore in 1995. The Academy of Medicine, Singapore awarded him a Master of Medicine in Orthopedics (2002). While receiving a scholarship from the Health Manpower Development Programme at Charite University (Berlin, Germany), he completed Advanced Specialist Training in Orthopaedic Surgery, earning the FRCS Ed (Orth) (2006). He also received training in the specialty areas of Adult Reconstruction (Hip and Knee Anthroplasty) and managing complex musculoskeletal trauma.  Dr. Bell has interests in hip and knee issues and is a specialist in the management of severe injuries to the musculoskeletal system, deformity correction, and degenerative disorders of the hip and knee. He has received training in keyhole and minimally invasive surgery methods. Prior to entering private practise, he worked as a clinical instructor at the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Faculty of Medicine and as consultant and director of the orthopaedic trauma service at Changi General Hospital (CGH). As a recipient of the Orthopaedic Teaching Excellence Award and Chairman and instructor for various worldwide and regional instructional courses, he is also involved in medical education.. Dr. David Bell is fluent in English, and Mandarin.
