About Dr. Elizabeth Barba Orozco Dr. Elizabeth Barba Orozco is a gastroenterologist with more than 15 years of expertise in this field. Services provided by her includes Neurogastroenterology, digestive motility, rumination syndrome and abdominal distension, and many more.  She received her Bachelor of Medicine from Universidad de Guadalajara (Mexico) in 2001, her Internal Medicine residency from Hospital General Occidente (Mexico) in 2003, her Gastroenterology residency from Hospital Civil de Guadalajara “Fray Antoni Alcalde” (Mexico) in 2007, and her PhD from Universitat Autnoma de Barcelona in 2015. In 2015, she completed a fellowship in the Digestive System Research Unit at the Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron. She has 18 national and international publications, as well as 7 book chapters. She is also the creator of two biofeedback techniques for rumination syndrome and abdominal distension treatment. Dr. Elizabeth Barba Orozco is fluent in Spanish, Catalan and English.
