About Dr. Erol Cakmak Dr. Erol Cakmak is a Gastroenterologist with 19+ years of experience. His expertise lies in Cancer, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), Celiac Disease, Inflammatory Bowel Disease, Gallbladder Disease, GERD (Heartburn, Acid Reflux), endoscopic procedures, etc. Dr. Erol has completed his graduation and post-graduation from the reputed Cumhuriyet University, Istanbul. Until now, he has worked in some of the premier institutes such as Yozgat Çekerek Health Center, Kayseri Erciyes University, Şarkışla State Hospital, Sivas Numune Hospital, Cumhuriyet University, Istanbul. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications and he is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CDE’s and worldwide conferences to talk about Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS).
