About Dr. G S Kalra Dr. G S Kalra is a renowned Cardiologist, based in Mohali having extensive 31+ years of experience. His expertise lies in Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICD), Stress Echocardiography, Dextro-Transposition of the Great Arteries (DTGA), Congenital Heart Surgery, Cardiac Rehabilitation, Angioplasty, etc. Dr. Kalra completed his MBBS from the University of Delhi, followed by MD in General Medicine and DM in Cardiology from the prestigious All India Institute Of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Later, he did Fellowship from the University of Birmingham, Alabama, USA. To date, he has operated over 15,000 complex coronary angioplasties and 40,000 interventional procedures successfully. He is a member of the Indian Medical Association, Punjab Medical Council, American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiology.
