About Dr. Gan Hwa Wooi Dr. Gan Hwa Woo is a leading Interventional Cardiologist in Penang, practising for 20 years. He specialises in a wide range of heart diseases and cardiovascular-related illnesses such as dyslipidaemia, resistance hypertension and diabetes mellitus along with Transradial Intervention and Angioplasty. He is a member of the Academy of Medicine of Malaysia (AMM), the Academy of Medicine, Singapore and the Asian Pacific Society of Interventional Cardiology, Hong Kong and the European Society of Cardiology, France. Dr. Gan Hwa Woo has several publications, journals, and articles to his name.   He has completed an MBBS (1998) from the University of Malaya, Malaysia. He has done MRCP (2003) from the Royal College of Physicians, United Kingdom. He is also an American College of Sports Medicine Certified Clinical Exercise Specialist. He has done Fellowship (Transradial Intervention & Interventional Cardiology, 2009) from Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, Taiwan.
