About Dr. Ganesh Nallur Shivu Dr. Ganesh Nallur Shivu is a well-known Interventional Cardiologist with 19+ years of experience in the field. He is a member of various national and international conferences such as Karnataka Medical Council; Royal College of Physicians, UK; British Cardiovascular Society; British Society of Echocardiography, and European Society of Cardiology. He graduated from Bangalore Medical College in 2000 and undertook MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (RCPS), Glasgow in 2004. He later obtained his cardiology training in the All Wales Cardiology Training Program and secured CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training) in cardiology. He has several Fellowships from the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff, UK, and Morriston Hospital, Swansea, UK, and completed his Ph.D. in Diabetic Cardiomyopathy at the University of Birmingham. He has published extensively 23 scientific papers in high-quality peer-reviewed journals such as Circulation and JACC. He has performed more than 5000 diagnostic angiograms and more than 2000 coronary angioplasties and uses the radial artery as the primary access route for interventions. He has extensive experience in all adjunctive Coronary Interventional techniques including rotational atherectomy, IVUS, optical coherence tomography, pressure wire evaluation, LASER, and distal protection device use.
