About
Dr. Gecelter has a special interest in surgery such as esophageal, biliary, GI Cancer, laparoscopic, Pancreatic Cancer and more. In the past he has served as Vice-Chairman of the Department of Surgery at the North Shore Long Island Jewish Health System before joining St. Francis in 2008.
Additionally, Dr. Gecelter founded the Minimally Invasive Fellowship Council and a member of numerous national and international societies, including the Society of Surgical Oncology and Society for Surgery of the Alimentary Tract.
