About Dr. Gavin Malcolm Spence Dr. Gavin Malcolm Spence is a well-known Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with over 24 years+ of experience in both surgical and non-surgical treatments. His areas of expertise lie in the management of Infant Hip Dysplasia, Acquired Limb Deformity Reconstruction, Limb Lengthening, Pediatric Trauma & Fractures, Cerebral Palsy, and other neuromuscular conditions, Clubfoot and other complex foot deformities, Syndromic Conditions, etc. Dr. Gavin has operated 4000+ procedures independently. He was the first surgeon in the UK to successfully conduct a complex pediatric limb deformity correction with Circular External Fixation and/or Intramedullary Limb Lengthening using Wittenstein Fitbone. After his clinical fellowships in pediatric orthopedics, he worked as a Consultant Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon with a special interest in Limb Reconstruction at Evelina London Children’s Hospital & Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London. Under his credit, there are both national and international publications. The Orthopedic Surgeon is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific conferences, CDE’s and worldwide conferences to talk about Pediatric Trauma & Fractures.
