About Dr. Geunsoo Kim Dr. Geunsoo Kim is a bright South Korea-based Neurosurgeon with 34+ years in the field. He is a member of the Korean Neurosurgery Society, the Korean Society of Spinal Neurosurgery, the American Neurosurgery Society, the American Society of Spinal Neurosurgery, and the North American Spine Society. He has also won 2004: International Lumbar Spine Society Best Academic Award and 2005: Korean Neurosurgery Society Best Paper Award. He completed his graduation from Yonsei University in 1987 and later received his residency from the same institution. He also did his M.S. and Ph.D. from Yonsei University Graduate School of Medicine in 1996 and 2000 respectively. He specializes in brain tumor, meningioma, glioma, pituitary gland tumor, auditory nerve tumor, craniotomy, pediatric glioma, endoscopic surgery (nose, eye), metastatic cancer, glioblastoma, cavernous angioma, cavernous hemangioma, etc. Dr. Kim has many articles and publications in national and international journals.
