About Dr. Ghassan Lotfi Dr. Ghassan Lotfi is a renowned Gynecologist & Obstetrician possessing 31+ years of experience. He holds expertise in Advanced minimally invasive surgery, Surgical treatment of primary gynecological cancer, including cancer of the cervix, uterus, and ovaries After completing his thesis on hormonal receptors in uterine cancer in 1989 in Sankt-Petersburg, he moved to Finland followed by Sweden and completed his fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology. In 2010, he moved to Dubai and worked in various private hospitals and DHA Latifa Hospital. He has a key role in building centers of excellence in MIGS. He also founded the Emirates Endometriosis League-EMEL and helped in the accreditation of several MIGS centers of excellence by the SRC/AAGL. He is also accredited by the AAGL as a Master Surgeon in MIGS.
