Dr. Giles R. Scuderi

Dr. Scuderi has over 20 years experience as an orthopaedic surgeon. He specializes only in adult knee reconstruction and sports medicine, and his surgical techniques include the full range of arthroscopic, minimally invasive and full open procedures. Dr. Scuderi has such special interest in knee disorders that he has developed gender-specific knee designs for total knee replacement candidates which led him to be the first orthopedic surgeon on Long Island to implant a knee replacement specifically designed to fit a female patient’s anatomy.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Scuderi has contributed to orthopedic literature with over 100 published articles. He has also edited a plethora of textbooks on total knee replacement, sports medicine and knee surgery, and continues to lecture worldwide on reconstructive knee surgery.
