About Dr. Gopi Aniyathodiyil Dr. Gopi Aniyathodiyil is an eminent Cardiologist, who has been practicing for the last 28 years. He has a keen interest in procedures such as cardiac ablation, cardioversion, carotid angioplasty, bypass surgery, mitral valve replacement, implantable cardioverter-defibrillator, acute aortic dissection etc. He has performed more than 12000 diagnostic procedures and 2500 interventional procedures. He was a part of the team that performed the first successful heart failure device implantation in Karnataka, and the first HFD+ICD device in South India. Dr. Gopi completed his MBBS from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences in 1988, and MD in General Medicine from Bangalore Medical College in 1992. He further did DNB in Cardiology from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 1992. Currently, he is a part of Cardiological Society of India and Indian College of Cardiology. He has been registered with Karnataka Medical Council since 1988.
