About Dr. Gultekin Faik Hobikoglu Dr. Gultekin Faik Hobikoglu is a Cardiologist based in Istanbul with 18+ years of experience. His area of clinical interest lies in Interventional Cardiology, PTCA (Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty), Stent placement, Pacemakers, ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator), Heart failure, Peripheral Vascular Occlusion, Coronary Artery Disease, Balloon Mitral Valvatomy, etc. Dr. Faik has completed his graduation at the reputed Istanbul University, followed by post-graduation from Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Education and Research Hospital. He is a member of the Turkish Medical Association, Turkish Cardiology Association. To date, he has worked in some of the premier institutes of Istanbul such as Siyami Ersek Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery Education and Research Hospital, Medicana Bahçelievler Hospital, Medical Park Bahçelievler Hospital. He has many national and international publications under his credit and he is actively invited as a guest speaker in scientific meetings, CDE’s to talk about Coronary artery disease.
