About Dr. Han-Gil Jeong Dr. Han-Gil Jeong is a Neurosurgeon in Seongnam, South Korea with 15+ years in the field. He received his medical degree from Seoul National University College of Medicine (summa cum laude). After completing his Neurology residency at Seoul National University Hospital, he completed a Critical Care fellowship at Seoul National University Bundang Hospital. He is the recipient of the Stroke Basic Science Award from the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association. Dr. Jeong’s research focuses on the development of novel and effective therapeutic strategies for critically ill patients. He has special and unique skills in managing patients with Deep Brain Stimulation (DBS), Surgery for Epilepsy, Nerve and Brachial Plexus Surgery, Radiosurgery as well as Cerebrovascular Surgery. He has more than 50 scientific publications, chapters in books and is an invited speaker in national and international conferences.
