About Dr. Han-Kwang Yang Dr. Han-Kwang Yang is a well-experienced Surgical Gastroenterologist based in Seoul, South Korea with 36+ years in the field. He is an active member of the Korean Gastric Cancer Association, Korean Society of Gastroenterology, American Association for Cancer Research, Korean Cancer Association, Korean Surgical Society, and many more. He is also the Chairman of the Korean GIST Study Group, Auditor of the Korean Cancer Association, Vice-chairman of the Korean GIST Study Group, Chairman of the Korean Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal Surgery Study Group, etc. He completed his M.D. from Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1984 and his M.S. from the same institute in 1988. He also did a Ph.D. from the Seoul National University College of Medicine in 1991 for specialization in Gastric Cancer. He holds expertise in areas such as Gastric cancer, Gastroesophageal reflux disease, Gastrointestinal stromal tumor, Hernia, Laparoscopic, Robotic Surgery, etc. Dr. Yang is one of the most widely published doctors with more than 50 publications under his name along with various review articles.
