About Dr. Hanifi Onalan Dr. Hanifi Onalan is a well-established Istanbul-based General Surgeon with 25+ years in the field. He is an honored member of the Turkish Surgical Association, National Trauma and Emergency Surgery Association, and Turkish Medical Association.  He completed his graduation from the Istanbul University Istanbul Faculty of Medicine in 1998 and did his Master’s Degree at the Taksim Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic in 2004. Dr. Kalayci has also done his Endoscopy Unit Videoendoscopy Application Certificate from Bakırköy Dr. Sadi Konuk Training and Research Hospital General Surgery Clinic in 2006. His area of interest lies in Obesity treatment (Gastric balloon, botox, and surgical treatment), Thyroid diseases and surgical treatment, hernia surgery (open and laparoscopic) (inguinal, umbilical, wound hernia), colon, rectum, stomach, and surgical treatment of diseases, Endoscopic diagnosis and treatment interventions (gastroscopy, colonoscopy, ERCP, pEG), etc. He is actively involved in several health awareness camps and has both national and international publications under his credit.
