About Dr. Hema Rawal Dr. Hema Rawal is a highly and internationally-trained Ophthalmologist who possesses extensive experience of +21 years. She graduated in 1994 from Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College and did her MS from Army Hospital Research& Referral, New Delhi in 1999. The same year she also did her DNB and basic sciences assessment in ophthalmology from the International Council of Ophthalmology in 2000. She then did a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons, Glasgow. She also trained at the, L V Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad and was also a clinical fellow at the Imperial College NHS Trust, London. She also did additional training at ICARE Eye Hospital & Post Graduate institute, Noida and then R P Centre for Ophthalmic Sciences, AIIMS, New Delhi. Dr. Rawal is proficient in diagnostic, medical and surgical retina. She is renowned for treating all kinds of retinal disorders and performing vitreoretina surgeries and retina and uvea conditions. She has been actively pursuing research and has presented research papers and was a part of the research project. She was even awarded a senior research fellowship for her thesis. Dr. Rawal has published many research papers.
