About Dr. Ho-Joong Kim Dr. Ho-Joong Kim is an Orthopaedic and Joint Replacement Surgeon with 22+ years in the field. He completed his graduation from the College of Medicine, Yonsei University, and pursued an MS in medical science from the Department of orthopedic surgery, Graduate school of Yonsei University. He also has a Ph.D. in medical science from the Department of orthopedic surgery, Graduate school of Yonsei University. He also completed his Spine research fellowship from the Dept. of Orthopaedic Surgery, Yonsei University Shinchon Severance Hospital (2007-2008). His major clinical fields are spinal deformities (scoliosis and kyphosis, congenital deformity, postoperative/degenerative flat-back deformity), and has treated both pediatric and adult spinal deformity patients. He has conducted many types of researches about spinal deformity, adjacent segment degeneration after spinal fusion surgery, lumbar spinal stenosis, and robotic spinal surgery.
