About Dr. Holm Edelmann Dr. Holm Edelmann is an Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery Specialist with an experience of 23 years in the field. He especially treats foot and ankle surgery, reconstruction of acquired foot deformations and degenerative and traumatic damage to the foot and ankle. He holds professional memberships of the German Association for Foot Surgery, Society for Foot Surgery, Society for Orthopedics and Trauma Surgery.  He has acquired national and international training from Switzerland, France, Austria, the USA and Spain. Between 1989-96, he studied Human Medicine at the Humboldt University, Berlin. After clearing state examination in 1996, he began his practice in 1997. In 1996, he began specialist training in the Orthopedic Clinic of the Charité Berlin. He further pursued his specialist orthopedic training at the orthopedic department of the Parkklinik Weißensee in 1997. He took further specialist training between 1997-2003, during which he also earned a Doctorate from Humboldt University in 1999.  His professional expertise is in treating tendon injuries, traumatic cartilage damage, malpositioned toes, axial displacement and ligament ruptures.
