About Dr. Humaid Al Shamsi Dr Humaid Alshamsi is a Medical Oncologist possessing more than 18 years of experience. After completing graduation from Cork University, Ireland, he pursued his internal medicine residency training at McMaster University in Canada followed by a fellowship in medical oncology in 2011. In 2013, he completed a subspecialty combined fellowship in gastrointestinal and Palliative oncology. He is currently focused on reforming oncology care in the UAE to bring improvement in patients’ outcomes. He acquired board certifications in Medical Oncology from the UK, Canada, and the USA. He has been associated with various organizations including Emirates Oncology Society (EOS) – President, Emirates Oncology Associations, The International Society of Gastrointestinal Oncology (ISGIO), American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and many more.
