About Dr. Hyojin Park Dr. Hyojin Park is a celebrated South Korean Medical Gastroenterologist with 36+ years in the field. He is the director of the Gangnam Severance Cancer Hospital, Chairman of the Gangnam Severance Fundraising Executive Committee, President of the Asia Pacific Gastrointestinal Exercise Society, and the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Functional Disease Exercise. He has also been the Vice-President of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Functional Diseases and served as chairman of the academic committee, general affairs director, and foreign relations committee in South Korea. He graduated from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1985 and received his residency opportunity at the same organization.  He also pursued his M.D and Ph.D. courses at Yonsei University College of Medicine in 1988 and 1996 respectively. Dr. Park holds expertise in Gastric cancer, colon cancer, esophageal cancer, functional gastrointestinal disease, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis) endoscopy, etc. He also has several national and international publications to his credit.
