About Dr. Jae Hwang Kim Dr. Jae Hwang Kim is a Daegu-based Surgical Gastroenterologist with 38+ years in the field. He is an Executive Director of the Anti-Colonal and Anus Society, a full member of the Korean Society of Surgery, the American Society of Colorectal and Anus Surgery (ASCRS), the American Society of Laparoscopy (SAGES), the American Society of Gastrointestinal Surgery (SSAT), and International regular member of the Society of Colorectal and Anus Surgery (ISUCRS). He graduated from medical school at Kyungpook National University in 1983 and a Doctor of Medicine from Yeungnam University in 1991. His main clinical interest lies in colorectal cancer, Hepatobiliary cancer, Pancreatic cancer, minimally invasive surgical treatment, gastric cancer, adult hernia, and laparoscopic surgery, sarcoma, hernia, etc. Dr. Jae has been invited to varied national and international interviews to deliver lectures and has written well-researched articles.
