About Dr. Jae-Sung Kim Dr. Jae-Sung Kim is a well-experienced Radiation Oncologist in South Korea with more than 32 years in the field. He completed his Fellowship at the Department of Therapeutic Radiology, Asan Medical Center, Seoul, Korea in 1993, and also the Department of Radiation Biology, Vanderbilt University, Medical Center, Nashville, USA. Dr. Kimâs clinical activities are dedicated to the field of thoracic, gastrointestinal, and genitourinary cancers. Furthermore, his research interests are focused on translational research on cancer patients, especially on radiation sensitization and its mechanisms to enhance the therapeutic outcome by combining radiation and drug therapy. He has written 150 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 20 chapters in textbooks and books.
