Dr. Gladstone is one of NYC’s leading experts in treating sports injuries, those of the knee and shoulder particularly. His key interest are inrotator cuff injuries, shoulder instability (dislocations, labral tears), ACL and meniscal injuries to the knee and articular cartilage restoration. He treats both adolescent and adult patients and always strives to provide provide patients with the best understanding of their condition to enable them to participate fully in the decision-making process.

Currently Dr Gladstone is Chief of the Sports Medicine Service and Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has has dedicated his career to help his patients recover from injury as comfortably and expeditiously as possible. He uses a conservative by nature approach, and whenever possible he treats injuries in a non-surgical setting as he is versed in the benefits of physical therapy, and other non-operative modalities. If surgery is required, Dr. Gladstone uses the most advanced techniques in arthroscopic and other sports medicine procedures to ensure maximum outcomes.
