About Dr. Jang Sung-il Dr. Jang Sung-il is a Medical Gastroenterologist based in Seoul, South Korea with 17+ years in the field. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the Society of Gastrointestinal Intervention Editorial Board, a member of the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, the Korean Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, and a life member of the Korean Pancreatic Biliary Society. He is also a Research Fellow of the Cancer Prevention Research Association and Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Group of the Korean Gastrointestinal Cancer Society. He graduated from the Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2003 and accepted a residency chance at the same organization. He also pursued his M.S and Ph.D. courses at Yonsei University College of Medicine in 2014 and 2017 respectively. Dr. Jang holds expertise in Biliary tract, pancreas, biliary tract, pancreatic cancer, treatment endoscopy, ultrasound endoscopy, intestinal tuberculosis, early gastric cancer, small intestine diseases, etc. He has several publications in International as well as national medical journals.
